Residents of Kibbutz Netiv Ha’asara near the border with the Gaza Strip last week raised a gigantic Israeli flag outside their community, seven months after Hamas terrorists infiltrated during the Oct. 7 massacre.
Netiv HaAsara, which was once home to almost 900 people, is one of the Israeli towns closest to the border. During the terrorist assault on the northwestern Negev, Hamas terrorists murdered at least 20 residents.
According to reports on social media, the new flag outside the town measures some 40 feet by 55 feet and was placed on a 165-foot pole.
In late October, an Israeli Air Force strike in the Gaza Strip killed Nasim Abu Ajina, who was said to have directed the massacre of Israeli civilians in Netiv Ha’asara and Kibbutz Erez.
