A 29-year-old Israeli woman was killed in a jeep accident while on a safari trip in Tanzania on Saturday.
She was identified as Inbar Greidinger-Gisler, the daughter of businessman Israel Greidinger and University of Haifa library director Naomi Greidinger.
Five members of her family were also lightly injured when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned. The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
“The Department for Israelis Abroad at the Foreign Ministry and the Israeli consul in Nairobi are aware of the incident and we are working to assist the family and the medical team sent to the site,” the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said.
Her body is being flown to Israel from the East African country for burial on Monday.
