He is the father of Alisa Flatow, who was murdered in an Iranian-sponsored Palestinian terrorist attack in 1995, and author of A Father’s Story: My Fight for Justice Against Iranian Terror. Ever wonder why polls consistently show that a large portion of the Israeli public supports creating a Palestinian state?
Watching Pence’s address, I could not help but recall the very different actions of the last vice president who visited Israel.
You wouldn’t think that one isolated Israeli counter-terror raid could explode every major myth about Israel’s conflict with the Palestinian Arabs. But last week’s raid in Jenin came pretty close to doing just that.
JNS columnist Stephen M. Flatow asks: Why is it that every time a female U.S. government official says something that the PA doesn’t like, PA leaders respond by making a disparaging remark related to the fact that she is a woman?
You know that critics of Israel are getting panicky when they start trotting out the old “one state” bogeyman. “As a 2-State Solution Loses Steam, a 1-State Plan Gains Traction,” a New York Times headline announced on Jan. 5, above an article so palpably absurd that it can only reflect the mad panic among advocates of Palestinian statehood as they see their dream fading away. And the fact that The Times chose to make it page one news says a lot about the fearful mindset among the left-wing news media, Israel-bashing pundits and Jewish peace camp types, writes JNS columnist Stephen M. Flatow.
The latest in a long series of extremist remarks by James Zogby, but this should be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back.
