Eric Adams’ visit comes in the wake of the Zohran Mamdani’s victory in New York City’s mayoral race on Nov. 5.
“We will never surrender our city to hate, or to those who want to say they want to globalize the intifada,” Eric Adams stated.
“Any congregation that will accept Zohran Mamdani over Yom Kippur is not a Jewish congregation,” Liel Leibovitz, editor-at-large of “Tablet” magazine, told JNS.
