Israel Defense Forces troops eliminated a Palestinian terrorist who tried to run them over in northern Samaria on Tuesday evening, the military stated.

“A report was received regarding a terrorist who attempted to run over IDF soldiers operating in the area of Einabus,” per the statement. “In response, the soldiers fired at the terrorist and eliminated him.”

No soldiers were injured in the attack, the IDF said.

Einabus is an Arab village in northern Samaria, located around five miles south of the Palestinian terrorist hub of Nablus (Shechem).

On Friday, a Palestinian terrorist from Qabatiya, located some 14 miles north-northwest of Einabus, killed two Israeli civilians and wounded two others in a series of attacks in northern Israel.

The terrorist fled in his Israeli employer’s car after the attack on Route 71 toward Kibbutz Tel Yosef. He was later shot and arrested at the entrance to Afula, after which he was hospitalized in moderate condition. The Kan channel reported that he had been working in Israel illegally.

Palestinian terrorists targeted Israeli Jews in Judea and Samaria at least 6,343 times in 2024, according to figures published by Rescuers Without Borders (Hatzalah Judea and Samaria).
