Israel and the United States began their annual joint naval exercise, “Intrinsic Defender,” on Sunday, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

Dozens of service members from the Israeli Navy and U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet are participating in the drill, which “aims to strengthen strategic and operational cooperation between the two naval forces, and practice responses to various regional threats.”

The war games will continue throughout the week.
