Khaled Abu Toameh is an award winning Arab and Palestinian Affairs journalist formerly with The Jerusalem Post. He is Senior Distinguished Fellow at the Gatestone Institute and a Fellow of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.
The trip underscores Israel’s growing diplomatic outreach in Latin America, the President’s Office said.
The route contained several rooms used by Hezbollah operatives for extended stays, according to the Israeli military.
The towns include nine in the north and seven in the center of the country,
“We’re not seeing any indication that a large part of the Jewish community supports anti-Zionism,” Jonathan Schulman, of Jewish Majority, which conducted the survey, told JNS.
