Rushing into the fire to combat antisemitism with Elan Carr

“TALX” with Alex Traiman and guest Elan Carr

Every Jew and ally today is looking for ways to help extinguish the scourge of antisemitism that has openly reared its head across the globe in the wake of the Hamas-led Oct. 7 massacre in southern Israeli towns.

In this episode of TALX, Elan Carr, CEO of the Israeli-American Council, sits down with JNS CEO and Jerusalem bureau chief Alex Traiman to discuss a distinctly Israeli-American answer to this immense challenge.

The Israeli-American Council jumped into action following the Hamas terrorist attacks in southern Israel on Oct. 7 and continues to offer solutions and ways for American patriots to stand by the Jewish people and their nation-state during these trying times.

Alex Traiman is the CEO and Jerusalem bureau chief of the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) and host of “Jerusalem Minute.” A seasoned Israeli journalist, documentary filmmaker and startup consultant, he is an expert on Israeli politics and U.S.-Israel relations. He has interviewed top political figures, including Israeli leaders, U.S. senators and national security officials with insights featured on major networks like BBC, Bloomberg, CBS, NBC, Fox and Newsmax. A former NCAA champion fencer and Yeshiva University Sports Hall of Fame member, he made aliyah in 2004, and lives in Jerusalem with his wife and five children.
“Many volunteers have never had the chance to meet a survivor in person, and hearing their stories firsthand makes the impact of their work tangible,” an organizer told JNS.
“If the government wants credit for resolving discrimination complaints, it has to also do the hard part, which is enforcement,” Mark Goldfeder, of the National Jewish Advocacy Center, told JNS.
“The reason they want to make a deal is they have been just beat to s***,” Trump said.
“The problem is money and politics,” the New Jersey senator told JNS. “And I think I want to lead by example.”
