“You represent God’s presence and His choice in this land,” the U.S. envoy told Israeli pioneers in Samaria.
In a spiritual speech in Jerusalem, the new envoy referenced God’s will and linked his Christian faith to the Jewish people in unprecedented terms.
“We all pray for the peace of Judea and Samaria, and for the peace of all of Israel,” the U.S. ambassador said.
The US ambassador addressed a special celebration of Israel’s emergency response organization at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem.
“For the president, getting the hostages home, especially our Americans, is front and center above everything else,” said the American ambassador to Israel.
