The House Judiciary committee released a memo based on 380 documents that it received in a probe of six nonprofits.
“Words like these incite violence, fuel hate and put Jewish families at risk,” said New Jersey Rep. Josh Gottheimer.
Pro-Israel groups welcomed the defeat of what they called a “reckless” and “attention seeking” amendment from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to remove the funding.
“The field of Israel studies is thriving, despite the stiff challenges it admittedly faces,” Alexander Kaye, director of Brandeis University’s Israel studies center, told JNS.

Ofir Akunis, Israeli consul general in New York, thanked the public school’s president “for not remaining silent and for standing up for truth and facts.”
“You not only illegally possessed extremely dangerous firearms, but you bragged about it and put on firearms trainings for others while doing so,” the district judge said at trial.
Edward Arthur Owens Jr., 29, faces up to five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.
“Our police department will not let stand hatred that translates into criminal conduct,” the Metro Nashville police chief said.
A Harvard-Harris poll also found that 87% of Republicans supported the strikes while 33% of Democrats did.
“It just makes sense to join forces in advancing life-saving health technologies that benefit both our nations,” said Rep. Randy Weber.
