“People are being murdered because of antisemitism on American soil, and thousands more are threatened,” stated Jonathan Greenblatt, of the Anti-Defamation League.
A Swedish-led series of surveys found traditional indexes miss Jew-hatred expressed through anti-Zionist language, contradicting earlier research.
“We believe a quick course correction is warranted,” the Anti-Defamation League wrote on X.
“We expect the mayor of the city with the largest Jewish population in the world to stand unequivocally against antisemitism in all its varied forms,” the nonprofit said.
“Bigotry toward Jewish people is one of the symptoms of decaying civilizations throughout human history,” David Holt told JNS.
“There is a word for this kind of twisted fear mongering and conspiratorial thinking: antisemitism,” Jonathan Greenblatt stated.
“All of the companies whose models we tested need to strengthen their safeguards around antisemitism and extremism,” Daniel Kelley, of the ADL, told JNS.
“This FBI won’t partner with political fronts masquerading as watchdogs,” stated Kash Patel, the bureau director.
“It is profoundly sad that Jewish Americans are discussing worst-case scenarios,” stated Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and national director of the ADL.
“A lot of faculty are scared,” Jeffrey Blutinger, Jewish studies chair at California State University, Long Beach, told JNS.
The Anti-Defamation League lists Betar US in its “glossary of extremism and hate” database.
