The Secretary of State is expected to meet separately with Israeli President Issac Herzog, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and other senior officials.
“In my many meetings with our good friends in the United States, one can see the support and love for Israel,” said Yesha Council Chairman Yisrael Ganz.
“My focus will be on securing the return of hostages, finding ways to make sure humanitarian aid reaches civilians, and addressing the threat posed by Hamas,” said the top U.S. diplomat.
“I say to Qatar and all nations who harbor terrorists, you either expel them or you bring them to justice. Because if you don’t, we will.” said the Israeli prime minister.
Israel’s Diaspora affairs minister criticized public figures who promote “vile conspiracy theories,” including conservative influencers Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.
The Israeli premier called the U.S. president “the best friend Israel has ever had in the White House” during the ceremony for the future promenade named after Trump.
The president reiterated his commitment to bringing all 48 captives home.
“We also have a September 11. We remember October 7. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst savagery against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.”
Adm. Brad Cooper wrapped his first visit to the Jewish state on Saturday, which included a tour of communities close to the Gaza Strip.
The American ambassador shot down reports saying the Trump administration asked Jerusalem not to advance sovereignty at this time.
The U.S. secretary of state will reportedly land in Israel on Sept. 14 and take part in the opening of a historic road leading to the Temple Mount.
