Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies—a diverse and intellectually challenging Jewish learning community that is based in Jerusalem with programs worldwide—announced a new partnership with the Melton Centre for Jewish Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Educators in Pardes’ Jewish Studies In-Service Teacher Training Program (JSITT), which trains Jewish-studies teachers at day schools in classroom pedagogy, can now use their JSITT learning (four credits worth) towards a master’s degree in Jewish education from Hebrew University.

“Hebrew University is a globally recognized name with leading scholars in education,” said Aviva Lauer of Pardes. “Now more than ever, we believe that Jewish learning is vital to creating a vibrant Jewish future. We are thrilled to help our Jewish educators access the incredible resources of the Melton Centre at Hebrew U. and earn a world-class M.A. to support their careers.”
