Jonathan D. Salant has been a Washington correspondent for more than 35 years and has worked for such outlets as Newhouse News Service, the Associated Press, Bloomberg News, NJ Advance Media and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. A former president of the National Press Club, he was inducted into the Society of Professional Journalists D.C. chapter’s Journalism Hall of Fame in 2023.

“These remarkable individuals have made history with their unparalleled achievements in sports and media, inspiring generations,” the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame said.
“The threats and attacks against Jewish students since Oct. 7 are despicable,” stated Sen. Bill Cassidy, who introduced the bill with Sen. John Fetterman.
“Given Oct. 7 and the war, each of them is not pursuing an identical agenda but they have serious concerns that are well-founded,” Guy Ziv, an American University professor, told JNS.
“Must leave no stone unturned when searching for the truth about who enabled the financing of the Nazi killing machine,” Maram Stern, of World Jewish Congress, told JNS.
“Congress certifies our great election victory today—a big moment in history,” President-elect Donald Trump said.
