Asked by JNS why Gulf funding had taken a precipitous drop, Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini pointed to “a combination of factors.”
“After a week filled with baseless accusations and incitement against Israel, the Palestinian representatives at the United Nations are once again resorting to theatrics,” Danny Danon told JNS.
A school official said the incident “is abhorrent.” The local district attorney said it’s “not a foolish college prank and will not be treated as such.”
Israel’s envoy to the United Nations said countries recognizing Palestinian statehood mistakenly believe that “taking a very nice picture” amounts to actually bringing change.
“In addition to doing very exquisite, kinetic strikes against the worst terrorist leaders, we must have a very aggressive counter-ideology campaign,” Sebastian Gorka told JNS.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum said recognition not conditional on the hostages’ release was “a catastrophic failure of political, moral, and diplomatic leadership.”
An arsonist reportedly tossed an incendiary device into a Florida Chabad house, setting a classroom on fire.
The annual U.N. General Assembly will be preceded by a Monday conference at which at least six states will officially back a Palestinian state.
