Defense Ministry says the defense budget includes expanded funding for IDF reservists and major security upgrades in Judea and Samaria.
The two leaders will then hold a joint press conference.
The proposed budget “above all meets all of Israel’s security needs,” the premier stated.
The Israeli premier’s military secretary will replace outgoing agency chief David Barnea.
“Together, we will kill the idea of a Palestinian state,” said the Israeli finance minister.
“After October 7th, we are determined to defend our communities along our borders,” the Israeli premier vowed.
“The two leaders stressed the importance and obligation of disarming Hamas and demilitarizing the Gaza Strip, and discussed expanding the peace agreements,” per the prime minister’s office.
The president says he will consider only the good of the country in reviewing the prime minister’s extraordinary request.
“While the vast majority of the free world decided to turn its back on the Jewish state, we extended a hand to it,” the Argentine president said.
“The Office of the President is aware that this is an extraordinary request which carries with it significant implications,” Herzog’s office stated.
The congressman’s “clarity and conviction” strengthen the shared U.S.-Israel stand against terrorism, the prime minister said.
