“The war is continuing, intensively, in both northern and southern Gaza, in order to achieve all of our goals,” the prime minister said.
“Israel will continue our just war to eliminate Hamas and achieve the other goals of the war that we have set,” said the Israeli premier.
“We—the Maccabees of our times—are fighting the forces of evil that have come to wipe the Jewish people and its state off the face of the Earth,” said the Israeli prime minister.
The president also stressed sustained humanitarian aid to Gaza and noted concern about settler violence against Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.
The Israeli prime minister spoke shortly after an Israeli farmer was killed by an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon.
