“The Islamists speak softly. Just check how Iran spoke in 1979,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar in Brussels.
In recent weeks, Israeli diplomats held several meetings with the parties in France, Spain and Sweden.
Israeli FM Gideon Sa’ar met with top officials from the bloc, despite protests by Amnesty and other hostile entities.
“There is an increased Iranian effort to smuggle money to Lebanon for Hezbollah in order to restore its power and status, including via Turkey and through its cooperation,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.
Gideon Sa’ar, who rejects the legal moves against him, will meet counterparts to discuss the cooperation agreement between the Brussels and Jerusalem.
Jerusalem will demand the complete disarmament of Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups, the Israeli foreign minister stressed.
Jerusalem’s top diplomat said he highlighted “the potential threat of ISIS in Syria” to the delegation.
Six countries currently have their embassies in Israel’s capital: the United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Kosovo, Paraguay and Papua New Guinea.
