The IDF announced the death of Staff Sgt. Haim Sabach, 20, who was killed by a Hezbollah missile.
The casualties were identified as Master Sgt. (res.) Dan Kamkagi, 31, and Master Sgt. (res.) Nahman Natan Hertz, 31.
The Lebanese terrorists also fired some 30 rockets at the Golan Heights.
The Lebanese projectiles struck across the largely evacuated city, with hits on residential buildings and parked vehicles.
“Hezbollah continues to rely on seemingly legitimate business investments and key facilitators to generate revenue for the group’s operations,” stated Brian Nelson, a U.S. Treasury under secretary.
The Israeli defense minister emphasized the importance of a “joint regional effort to counter Iran’s proxy attacks and nuclear ambitions.”
Two Israelis were lightly wounded in the Upper Galilee when a Hezbollah anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon scored a direct hit on their vehicle.
“Iraq is a strong U.S. ally and receives hundreds of millions of dollars every year from Washington. There should be more accountability,” says Emma Tsurkov, whose sister Elizabeth was abducted by Kata’ib Hezbollah in 2023.
The latest proposal submitted by French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné calls for a “repositioning” of Hezbollah without defining to where.
