The Israel Defense Forces on Monday struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of Southern Lebanon.

“The Hezbollah terrorist organization continues attempting to reestablish terror infrastructure sites across Lebanon,” the military said.

The IDF noted that the Iranian-backed terrorist group’s attempts to re-establish itself constitute a violation of the Nov. 26 ceasefire deal.

“The IDF will continue to operate in order to remove any threat and protect the State of Israel,” the IDF statement concluded.

On Nov. 26, 2024, Israel and Lebanon signed a ceasefire deal aimed at ending more than a year of cross-border clashes between the IDF and Hezbollah. The Iranian-backed terror group began attacking the Jewish state in support of Hamas in the aftermath of its Oct. 7, 2023, massacre.

Since the truce, the IDF has conducted frequent raids to stop Hezbollah from rebuilding terrorist infrastructure in Southern Lebanon, thereby violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

On Saturday, the Israeli Air Force killed a Hezbollah member trying to rebuild terrorist infrastructure in the Dounin area of Southern Lebanon.

This infrastructure was previously attacked by the IAF during the week-long “Operation Northern Arrows” aerial offensive in September 2024.

In addition, on Sunday, IDF soldiers dismantled Hezbollah posts in the Har Dov area near the border with Israel, the military said on Tuesday.

These sites were dismantled in order to prevent the terror organization from re-establishing itself in the border area, according to a statement.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem has rejected demands to disarm in accordance with the truce, warning in July that the terrorist group was “rebuilding, recovering and ready now” to take on the IDF.
