“This isn’t simply an American or Israeli issue; it’s a global problem,” said the Israeli FM.
A series of decisive Israeli airstrikes has systematically targeted the highest echelons of the Iranian terror regime’s apparatus, taking out the true power broker alongside Basij head.
The victims were in their 70s, United Hatzalah said, and were reportedly trying to get to a shelter.
“We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, in particular, in a time of need,” the U.S. president wrote.
“Everybody is united, fighting for the same thing, which is freedom,” Tamar Nissim, regional director for the Israeli-American Council, told JNS.
Kamran Hekmati’s cousin stated that the designation “reassures us that our government has our back in the effort to get Kamran home safely.”
“Larijani is the boss of the Revolutionary Guards, which is the gang of gangsters that effectively runs Iran,” said the Israeli premier.
The drone hit was part of the most intense wave of Iranian attacks against Iraq since Feb. 28, Iraqi sources said.
The strikes covered a distance of some 700 miles across the Islamic Republic, according to the Israeli military.
“The Iranian regime is deliberately firing at civilian populations and harming religious buildings of all faiths,” Israeli FM Gideon Sa’ar said.
Larijani had long been a senior figure in Tehran’s power structures.
Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said the military’s actions have the “potential to influence the gains of the campaign,” noting the thwarting of Palestinian terrorists in Tehran and the expanded campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
