Palestinian terrorists who flew a kite loaded with flammable materials over the Gaza security fence succeeded in setting fire to a wheat field in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council on Monday.

No casualties were reported.

At least two additional kites were flown into Israeli territory on Saturday and Sunday, with one of them igniting the Kissufim Forest near Gaza.

The new attack strategy against Israel is part of the “March of Return” Friday demonstrations initiated by Hamas, which has seen tens of thousands of Gazans attack the security fence between Israel and Gaza in recent weeks.

“We will keep litigating until we get to the truth,” Randy Mastro told JNS, after oral arguments in New York County Supreme Court. “I’m sure the court will hear us when these procedural issues are behind us.”
Forum HaGevura (“The Heroism Forum”) warned in the letter, a copy of which the group provided to JNS, that Hamas was exploiting the fact that Israel stopped taking the initiative in Gaza.
“I’m seeing what’s going on in New York,” Stav Cohen, founder of the Israeli nonprofit Frontline Advocates, told JNS. “I fear for my speakers’ lives.”
“If you’re going to do that kind of act in that area, at that time, you’re more than likely, if you’re going to kill somebody, to kill a Jew,” Michael Trager told the Daily Wire.
