Israeli lightly wounded in Samaria stabbing

Two Palestinians were apprehended in connection with the incident, according to local media.

An Israeli man was lightly wounded on Tuesday during a confrontation between Palestinians and Israeli Jews near Karnei Shomron in Samaria, east of Kfar Saba, according to local media reports.

On Monday, an Israeli police officer was seriously wounded in a stabbing near Jerusalem’s Shivtei Yisrael light rail stop.

Magen David Adom emergency medical personnel treated the officer at the scene before evacuating him to hospital in stable condition.

On Thursday, two Israelis were wounded, one seriously, when they were stoned by Palestinians during a confrontation with Palestinians near the Rimonim Junction north of Jerusalem.

The two men were treated by Magen David Adom paramedics before being evacuated to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The attacks come amid Israel’s ongoing war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, sparked by the the terror group’s Oct. 7 attack on the Jewish state, during which it killed 1,400 people, wounded thousands more and took some 240 captives back to the Gaza Strip as hostages.

“You can’t send an 18-year-old off to college without filling in many blanks before they leave, about why being Jewish is important,” the longtime Jewish communal leader told JNS.
