Students evacuated amid major flooding in Jerusalem
No students were injured. All affected were cared for by police officers and teachers, after more than 5 inches of rainfall hit the Israeli capital.
“This is expected to be the first international conference of its sort, and we can’t think of a better place to hold it,” says Marc Zell, chairman of Republicans Overseas Israel. “The proposed conference will present the unshakeable alliance between the U.S. and Israel.”

$55 million to be invested in Jewish Quarter of Old City of Jerusalem
Projects include an elevator that will lead from the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall plaza that is accessible for the disabled; a renovation of the Tiferet Yisrael Synagogue, which was destroyed in 1948; and improved shade and outdoor facilities.

Jerusalem stabbing attack, victim in serious condition
The stabbing of a 43-year-old man in Jerusalem on Sunday morning does not appear to be a terror attack, according to Israel Police.
In addition to the City of David in Jerusalem, the delegation of U.N. envoys visited the Gaza and Lebanese border areas to learn of and view the threat posed by the terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
A Spanish railway construction company has rejected an Israeli tender to build part of the Jerusalem railway because of “the occupation of land through which will pass a section of the railway.”
This development followed the Sunshine State instituting sanctions against Airbnb because of the company’s decision last year to boycott Judea and Samaria.
