U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent says Tehran cannot pay its troops, while U.S. Ambassador to Israel Huckabee says only Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu know whether further military action is coming.
Netanyahu says that, together with the U.S. president, Israel has a “historic, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to eliminate the Iranian threat.
Israel’s prime minister and the IDF chief disagreed over a proposed military action that could trigger a wider confrontation with Iran, a report alleged.
“We continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our Gulf partners and the shipping industry,” said Adm. Brad Cooper.
