Dr. Mahmoud-Reza Aghamiri, head of the Nuclear Engineering Department at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, said Iran has a nuclear “deterrence capability.”

According to a Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) report, Aghamiri stated that “it is natural to have the power, the might and the capabilities that would make your enemy succumb to your demands in negotiations,” he said in a lecture uploaded to the SNN.ir Telegram channel on April 9.

“It means you can raise your uranium enrichment level to 90% within a very short period. You have the power, if needed, to ‘not control’ the nuclear fission. In other words, you can install it on a warhead and let it do whatever it wants,” he continued.

“You have the capability to develop and complete the [nuclear] fuel cycle that is needed for that purpose,” he added. “We call this an ‘inalienable right.’ ”

In the talk, he mentioned North Korea as an example of nuclear deterrence.

“Jews make up a small fraction of San Francisco’s population, yet anti-Jewish bias accounted for nearly half of all hate crimes reported so far this year,” Marc Levine, of the ADL, told JNS.
Board of Peace envoy Nickolay Mladenov denies claims of a financial deal with the terror group.
“Calling it ‘settler violence’ is a provocation” which “denies our connection to the land of Israel” and “distracts from constant terrorist attacks against Israelis,” said Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon.
Jonathan Sarna, of Brandeis University, told JNS that the partnership “vividly displays the benefits of the free marketplace of competing synagogues in the American setting.”
