Fatah Central Committee Secretary General Jibril Rajoub said in an interview last week that the Palestinians may choose to “change the rules of engagement” in response to Arab, Israeli and U.S. pressure.

“We are not going to start shooting at the Arabs, and we do not want to escalate against anyone, but we are capable of controlling the rules of engagement, and by the way, all options are open,” he said.

Rajoub called on Palestinians to stay loyal to the legacy of “giants,” such as former PLO chairman Yasser Arafat, Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, former PFLP Secretary General Abu Ali Mustafa, current PFLP Secretary General Ahmad Sa’adat, and former Fatah political figure and convicted terrorist Marwan Barghouti.

“It’s yet another example of the Wikipedia editors’ anti-Israel bias,” Alyza Lewin, of the Combat Antisemitism Movement, told JNS.
“We feel that we made one huge achievement and that is to move the conversation from whether these crimes happened to what are their consequences,” Israeli legal scholar Cochav Elkayam-Levy told JNS.
The prime minister tells Yaniv Hayun he deserves a “global medal of honor” and says Israel will join the probe into the apparent attempt to crash Flight FZ1073.
“The fact that Newsom chose to sign the Eid law before the law that protected other religious observance speaks volumes about the direction he is moving as he eyes a 2028 run for the presidency,” the chair of Jewish engagement for the California Republican Party told JNS.
