“Tax-exempt status is a privilege, not a right, and in exchange, organizations must operate for stated exempt purposes,” stated Rep. Jason Smith, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee.

“We are experiencing a growing awareness of the presence of hate-based political behaviors, where antisemitism is allowed to flourish,” Steven Windmueller, a professor emeritus at HUC, told JNS.
The incident is under investigation. It occurred after the USNS Big Horn refueled the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group.
