“Those who seek to finance these groups’ destabilizing activities will be held to account,” said Bradley Smith, acting under secretary of the treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence.
“The administration targeted individuals for engaging in legitimate protest activities,” says a lawyer involved in the case.
