Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday morning praised U.S. President Donald Trump for ordering American military strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

President Trump and I often say: ‘Peace through strength.’ First comes strength, then comes peace,” said Netanyahu.

“Tonight, President Trump and the United States acted with a lot of strength,” he added.

Earlier, Trump had announced a “successful” U.S. strike on three Iranian nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.

“A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” Trump said. “All planes are safely on their way home.”

Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Sunday also praised the Trump administration, saying: “In the pages of human history, this is a moment when the principles of liberty, responsibility, and security have triumphed. A decisive moment between the axis of terror and evil and the axis of hope.”

“Thank you, Donald Trump. Thank you, United States of America,” Herzog continued. “This brave step serves the security and safety of the entire free world. I hope it will lead to a better future for the Middle East—and help advance the urgent release of our hostages held in captivity in Gaza.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Sunday hailed Trump’s “historic decision” to destroy the Iranian nuclear sites, calling it “a move aimed at supporting the continuation of Israel’s military operation and preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons that could threaten Israel, regional stability, and the national security interests of the United States.”

“The U.S.–Israel alliance is now stronger than ever, serving as a pillar of peace and security for both nations and for the free world,” Katz added.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir tweeted: “God Bless President Trump. God Bless America. God Bless the United States Army. God Bless the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. God Bless the Israel Defense Forces.”

Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer tweeted the “Shehecheyanu,” a Jewish prayer of thanks, recited upon arriving at a significant moment.

“Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the Universe, who has given us life, sustained us, and allowed us to reach this day,” Dermer wrote.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday congratulated the government and security forces following what he described as a significant moment for the country and global stability.

“This morning, the world is a safer and better place for Israel and for all of humanity,” Smotrich wrote.

He thanked Netanyahu and Dermer for “25 years of determined effort” leading up to the development. He also expressed gratitude to the Israeli security forces, saying: “Thank you to the brave soldiers and commanders of the IDF and all branches of our security forces—on land, in the air, and at sea. Thank you to the incredible people of Israel.”

Finally, Smotrich credited the U.S. administration, saying: “Thank you to President Trump for showing true leadership and unwavering commitment to the State of Israel and to world peace.”

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid tweeted: “Thank you President Trump for your historic decision. Israel, the Middle East and the world are now safer.”

Benny Gantz, head of the opposition National Unity Party and a former War Cabinet minister, expressed appreciation to the Trump administration.

“The historic decision by the United States makes the world, the Middle East and Israel safer places today,” Gantz posted to X.

“I wish to convey to President Trump and the American people my profound appreciation for their leadership, determination and their clear stand with Israel throughout this campaign and tonight particularly against the Iranian regime,” he added.
