Florida Hebrew University debuts as a unique Torah-based institution

Offering innovative majors like Torah-based Agriculture, Modest Fashion and Sacred Linguistics.

Aventura, Fla.—In a ground-breaking initiative, a new Orthodox Jewish university is set to open its virtual doors offering a learning experience that is truly unprecedented in the world of Jewish education.

At this university, a beacon for Torah-centric academic excellence, every subject matter is taught by Torah-observant Jewish professors in strict adherence to the principles of halachah (Jewish law). Each course is presented through the Torah lens, infused to reflect a holistic approach to education and Torah-directed parnasa pathways. Among others, FHU offers degrees in such innovative majors as Torah-based Agriculture, Modest Fashion and Sacred Linguistics.

In its effort to engage the community and attract viable financial support, Florida Hebrew University is kicking off its inaugural fundraising initiative on The Chesed Fund website as a featured campaign.

“Our goal is to create an environment where students do not have to choose between academic excellence and adherence to Torah values,” says Esther Basha, president of Florida Hebrew University.

This fundraising effort, the first of its kind for an Orthodox Jewish university, reflects the deep commitment to empowering the next generations of Jewish leaders.

Contributions of any size are welcome, and donors may choose to fund specific initiatives or make general contributions.
