United by their support for the land and people of Israel, over 125 young professionals from JNFuture, Jewish National Fund-USA’s division for 22–40-year-olds, celebrated their philanthropic achievements at the organization’s 1,400-strong National Conference in Boston between Nov. 4-6.
The largest pro-Israel gathering of its type, the conference included the JNFuture Summit and featured special guest speakers, including the Vice President of Margalit Startup City Galil, Nisan Zeevi, who shared how, together with Jewish National Fund-USA, they are revitalizing Israel’s periphery by creating jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities, especially in the food tech space.
“We come from different cities, but what unites us is our love of Zionism and our shared belief in Jewish National Fund-USA’s mission,” said JNFuture President Chad Holtzman. “These are the leaders of now, and for the future, and by hearing about all the great projects the organization is doing in Israel, they will be able to take that back to their communities, spread the word, and hopefully bring other young professionals into the JNFuture family.”
Attendees gained further inspiration from Jewish National Fund-USA CEO Russell F. Robinson, who praised their leadership and encouraged them to be catalysts for change, emphasizing that their youth was an organizational strength. “You all have a lot of intelligence and drive,” he said. “This is your organization as well, so use your creativity to push the envelope and make a difference.”
Melissa Wittenberg, director of JNFuture, shared her excitement at seeing so many energetic young people coming together in support of the land and people of Israel, saying, “our incredible supporters were able to learn, connect, bond, and have a fabulous time with like-minded fellow philanthropists, who showed they are the future of Jewish National Fund-USA.”
During the event, JNFuture members also mentored seniors attending the conference’s College Summit, where they offered career advice and an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals working in the students’ desired fields. They also enjoyed a Saturday night soiree with food, cocktails, music, and networking as Zionist philanthropists from across the country met and bonded over their shared values.
