Iranian police are investigating an explosion that started a fire at an industrial complex that contains gas-condensate storage tanks, Reuters reported on Monday.

According to the report, which was based on Iranian news outlets, Javad Jahandoust, the fire chief at the Kavian Fariman industrial complex, said that six storage tanks were ablaze and one had exploded.

The industrial complex is located south of the city of Mashhad. Jahandoust said the fire was under control, and that there were no casualties.

This was the latest in a series of mysterious explosions and fires around Iranian military, nuclear and industrial facilities in recent weeks.

Separately, the Iranian currency rial dropped to its lowest ever rate against the U.S. dollar on the unofficial market on Monday, according to Reuters, as a result of U.S. sanctions and the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.

According to Iran’s Health Ministry, there were 203 deaths in the country in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 13,032, with 259,652 confirmed cases, according to the report. Some observers claim that the actual rate is likely much higher.

“The disciplinary process before the Bureau is ongoing and remains confidential. No decisions have been taken, and no weight should be given to recent media speculation,” an internal ICC memo said.

The ministry says 123 remain hospitalized, including 15 in serious condition.
Steps were taken to mitigate harm to noncombatants, according to the Israeli military.
Army says Ofer “Poshko” Moskovitz died when Israeli artillery mistakenly struck Misgav Am during operations near the Lebanon frontier.
“Israel remains committed to protecting these holy sites for all,” the Foreign Ministry said.
“The war will end when there’s not an entity in Tehran that’s going to threaten the region,” the Israeli ambassador to the U.S. said.
