The investigative report found that the state chapter “awarded $20,000 in loans and scholarships to 20 students in October 2024” and solicited more than $64,000 in donations.

“These radical extremists are not welcome in our state and are now prohibited from acquiring any real property interest in Texas,” Greg Abbott said.
The American people are “inadvertently subsidizing terror against themselves,” bill sponsor Chip Roy said.
“The U.S. has no obligation to host foreigners, like Sami Hamdi, who support terrorism and actively undermine the safety of Americans,” the U.S. Department of Homeland Security wrote.
Katie Wilson, a self-described socialist, has also accused Israel of “genocide” and said she’s open to boycotting the Jewish state.
Georgia Alexakis, a U.S. district court judge, stated that “the plaintiffs have failed to establish the likelihood of success on the merits of the claims that they advance.”
Paul Eckles of the Brandeis Center told JNS that the suit turns “anti-discrimination law on its head.”
Sen. Tom Cotton and Rep. Elise Stefanik are asking the administration to look into the anti-Israel NGO’s funding and possible sanctions violations.
The letter comes after CAIR announced plans to partner with schools in Pennsylvania and Delaware to help make them “more inclusive.”
“Tax-exempt status is a privilege, not a right, and it should not subsidize organizations with links to terrorism,” the Arkansas senator said.
