“The idea that antisemitism is not treated with the same rigor as other forms of hate needs to be addressed,” Anthony Housefather told JNS.

“Given the absolute silence of the sub-contractor,” the Federation said, “we are driven to the view that this shameful decision is intended to disrupt our peaceful rally out of hatred toward Jews. “
The 83-year-old received a lifetime achievement award at a Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs conference in Ottawa.
“This is in fact the actualization of a globalized intifada through violence,” said the president of Federation CJA of the sharp spike in antisemitism since Oct. 7.
