Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked a series of Hezbollah terrorist targets in Southern Lebanon overnight Thursday, the military said.

A command center near Hanaouay, in the Tyre District, was hit, along with terrorist infrastructure and a rocket launcher in the area of Ayta ash Shab. The launcher had been used to fire rockets on Thursday towards the IDF’s Biranit base, the headquarters of the 91st “Galilee” Division. No injuries were reported in that incident.

Air-raid sirens sounded on Friday morning in the area of Kibbutz Manara and the nearby city of Kiryat Shmona. Several projectiles were identified crossing the border from Lebanon into Israel and hitting open areas, the IDF said. No injuries were reported.

Alarms were also activated in the town of Metula and Moshav Yuval, with five rockets striking open areas.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported on an alleged Israeli strike in the Southern Lebanese town of Naqoura on Friday morning that killed two people.

Hezbollah has attacked northern Israel nearly every day since joining the war in support of Gaza-based Hamas on Oct. 8, killing 22 people and causing widespread damage. Tens of thousands of Israeli civilians remain internally displaced due to the ongoing violence.

The terrorist group has vowed revenge for last week’s targeted killing by Israel of senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut.
