“With God’s help, we are going to achieve a lot of accomplishments thanks to you and thanks to our brave soldiers,” the premier vowed.
“This is a critical operation to prevent an existential threat, by an enemy who is intent on destroying us,” Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir stated.
“This is a sacred preemptive defensive war to protect Western civilization,” stated Morton Klein, of the ZOA.
“There are challenging and complicated days ahead of us. We are strong together and prepared to defend the State of Israel,” said Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo.
The U.S. secretary of state said that “we are not involved in strikes against Iran, and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region.”
The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem activated a situation room to coordinate with diplomatic missions worldwide.
The attack took place outside the Jewish community of Hermesh, west of the Palestinian terrorist hotspot of Jenin in northern Samaria.
In a covert mission, the IDF and Rambam Hospital gave a 12-year-old Syrian girl life-saving care.
“The threat of Hamas will not be allowed to remain beyond the [border] fence,” warned the IDF chief of staff.
Two more members of the terrorist network were arrested as part of an ongoing northern Samaria crackdown.
The IDF said it “will continue to operate against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to ensure the security of the civilians of the State of Israel.”
