Herzog presents Biden with Israel’s Presidential Medal of Honor
“From our shared Irish roots to our shared love of Israel, we are united in heart and spirit,” wrote the U.S. president in an official guestbook.
The U.S. president will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid, after which they will participate in the first-ever “I2U2” virtual summit along with the leaders of India and the UAE.
The award was granted in honor of Czech President Miloš Zeman’s “deep friendship with the Jewish People, and consistent support for Israel on the international stage.”
