‘I am an Arab Zionist’

“The Quad,” Ep. 10

This week, “The Quad” interviews Rawan Osman, a peace activist and the founder of “Arabs Ask,” a new forum that seeks to debunk anti-Israel and antisemitic stereotypes prevalent in the Arab world.

Osman details her journey from a Hezbollah admirer who hated Jews to an Arab Zionist who loves the Jewish state.

In addition, “The Quad” delves into the perseverance and resilience that the Israelis have demonstrated since Oct. 7. From farmers in the south to security personnel in the north; from women making do without their husbands, who are serving in the Israel Defense Forces throughout the country, to families holding on to hope for the deliverance of relatives from captivity in Gaza, Israeli society has shown incredible strength.

And, of course, the Scumbags and Heroes of the Week!

JNS TV show with Fleur Hassan-Nahoum (deputy mayor of Jerusalem), Emily Schrader (activist and journalist), Ashira Solomon (African-American Jew and political moderator) and Vivian Bercovici (former Canadian ambassador to Israel).

The U.S. vice president delayed his trip in the wake of hostilities between Israel and Iranian-backed Hezbollah.
The Jerusalem gathering presents a 12-forum blueprint to fight antisemitism, reshape policy and strengthen the Jewish state’s security and global standing.

While Washington celebrates a 60-day ceasefire extension, Jerusalem sees its core security interests sacrificed, with Hezbollah preserved on the northern border and strains in the U.S.-Israel alliance.
