They are flocking to Israel through Masa Israel Journey; the organization has seen a 200 percent jump in applicants from the region since the war began.

Masa Fellows begin long-term work, study and volunteering experiences in Israel
Ahead of the Jewish New Year, 3,000 American Fellows have already landed in Israel, including 1,000 from New York.
Fellows from the program have taught in 19 Israeli cities and have worked alongside 350 host teachers.

Israeli Health Ministry launches vaccination drive for Masa participants
Some 5,000 young people from abroad involved in a variety of programs in the country will be inoculated over the course of a week-and-a-half.
The Knesset approves a plan that will allow any individual eligible for an immigration visa or certificate according to the Law of Return—or a participant in a Jewish heritage program—to perform national service.

Thousands of young adults from around the world have arrived in or are preparing to travel to Israel for a gap year, internship, study abroad, volunteer or professional training program.
“Here, I feel truly at home,” said Miriam Mercado. “In Mexico, we are always viewed as ‘those Jews’ and never felt safe to go out with a ‘kipah.’ We knew we would always be a minority.”

Masa leadership summit in Israel to offer guidance to young Jewish professionals
It will train 125 early- to mid-career Masa Fellows on how to tackle challenges and embrace opportunities facing their Jewish communities.
