The Biden administration’s review of Iran’s response to the final E.U. draft agreement has been completed, and its response has been conveyed to the Europeans, says U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price.
U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Deborah Lipstadt was in Argentina for the AMIA bombing ceremony, where attendees waved black-and-white photos of the victims.
“Our commitment to our Israeli partners, Israel’s security, is ironclad,” said Ned Price.
Senior staff and American ambassadors across the Middle East have been in close communication with Israeli and Palestinian officials seeking to de-escalate tensions.

In an interview with Israel’s Army Radio, Joshua Zarka, deputy director-general of strategic affairs in the Foreign Ministry, claimed that there was “definitely an exchange and discussion” with America on the issue.
“Reports of civilian deaths are something that we regret and would like to come to a stop,” said U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price.
U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price dismissed the criticism, saying that it took oversight of UNRWA “extraordinarily seriously,” and that it would now have “a seat at the table.”
