Israel was created by world powers to solve the “Jewish problem,” and Muslims should not carry out terrorist attacks against European countries and the United States, but rather against the Israelis directly, Malaysia’s former premier said last week in a TV interview.

Speaking with Lebanon’s Al-Mayadeen TV on June 29, Mahathir bin Mohamad said that when Muslim countries fight among themselves, killing Muslims, they help Israel.

He also said that terrorist attacks in Europe and the United States will result in these countries removing their support for the Palestinian cause, and that it was preferable to attack the Israelis directly, “like some of the Palestinians in Jerusalem, who individually attack Israeli soldiers.”

Mohamad also said that the only reason Americans supported Israel was that the Jews control the media in America.

“If they [the American people] think we are wrong, we have to tell them that we are doing something that is right. It is a propaganda campaign on the part of the Jews. They are very good. They own all the newspapers in America. They own the TV stations. So they have tremendous influence,” he said.

Mohamad went on to say that American influence could be reduced through Muslims support for blacks in the United States.

“We should show support for the blacks because this is where we can show that the American society is unjust and unfair to their own people, so we will then reduce the influence of America on our internal affairs.”
