AMIT

Founded in 1925, the AMIT educational network provides a quality, Jewish values-based education to 42,000 students across 91 schools, in 29 cities throughout Israel. AMIT welcomes all children and helps them realize their potential, leveling the playing field and strengthening Israeli society.
This emergency initiative focuses on the epicenter of the recent attacks and is an urgent call to support Sderot’s children in their greatest time of need.
“Our AMIT schools are not just buildings, they are sanctuaries of potential for our students,” says Mrs. Safra.
“New York Times” best-selling author, Daniel Silva, took center stage at AMIT’s extraordinary event titled “A Conversation with Daniel Silva.”
Over the past four years, AMIT implemented a host of new, innovative programs to improve academic performance and motivation for its 40,000 students.
AMIT hosted the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Kfar Batya campus on May 10 despite incoming missile attacks, to demonstrate Israel’s resilience and allow the campus to serve as a signal for an even stronger Israel ahead.
The program transforms Israeli children’s lives after the school day ends.
“I am honored to have been selected to be part of the monumental ceremony, and hope I can live up to my expectations to support my country and inspire other young people,” says the 17-year-old.
“AMIT is a safe haven of education for all the children of Israel to continue to build a nation of productive citizens despite their background and regardless of the political climate,” says executive vice president Andrew Goldsmith.
