President Donald Trump receives Lifetime Achievement Award from the Israel Allies Foundation for his unflinching support of the Jewish state.
The Israel foreign minister was also expected to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, marking their fourth meeting this year.
“If you sit there with someone who says Adolf Hitler was very, very cool,” Cruz said, “and you say nothing, then you are a coward and you are complicit.”
“If I pick up my phone and send out a tweet, if I say ‘good morning,’ within minutes I will have hundreds of blatantly antisemitic responses,” the Texas Republican said at an event hosted by Hagee Ministries.
The Texas Republican talked about his efforts to have the Muslim Brotherhood recognized as a foreign terror organization.
“Southern Syria must be demilitarized, and we will not allow harm to come to the Druze,” Israel’s defense minister told the Texas senator.
Israel has an “absolute right to determine what happens in Judea and Samaria,” said Sen. Ted Cruz.

The Texas Republican has spoken out before on the issue of disrupted travel to the Jewish state since Oct. 7, 2023.
The Republican senator said “there have been allegations about antisemitic discrimination by airlines and that calls by unions not to fly to Israel were motivated solely by pro-Hamas activists.”
