“For those who care a lot about Israel, this has been a life-saving election,” RJC board member Ari Fleischer said.
During their conversation, Trump stressed his “love and support” for the Jewish state, the Israeli president said.
The former president sees loyalty as a key criterion as he considers a mix of familiar faces and new allies for top positions.
A pro-Trump voter, who grew up in Iran, told JNS “it’s a fantastic thing” that the former president won reelection.
An attendee of a Jewish election party told JNS that “without Trump in power, I think Israel is dead in the water.”
“The Democratic Party did not do nearly enough to convince many Jews that it would stand up to the radicals in its camp,” said David May, of FDD.
“This victory can be considered a mandate from the American people,” stated Morton Klein, of ZOA.
The two men “agreed to work together for Israel’s security and discussed the Iranian threat.”

Yehuda Kaploun, a member of Trump’s circle, said of the Harris campaign’s moves on Israel and antisemitism that their “‘shonda’ actions are our blessings.”
The Republican is returning to the White House for a second term.
Control over the House of Representative was still up for grabs, with scores of races not called by early Wednesday morning.
