The former U.S. president issued several statements some 12 hours after Israel said it had recovered and identified the bodies of six hostages in a Gaza tunnel.
“There’s no room to make a deal to give the stage to antisemites,” Ted Deutch, CEO of the AJC, said of the party’s refusal to allow anti-Israel protesters to speak on stage
“I am unequivocal and unwavering in my commitment to Israel’s defense and its ability to defend itself,” the vice president said. “That’s not gonna change.”
Harris supporters were nearly twice as likely as Trump ones to say that the United States “should take into account the interests of its allies even if it means making compromises with them.”
“Evil only respects one thing: unyielding strength,” the former president says.
“I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend our forces and our interests against Iran and Iran-backed terrorists,” the U.S. vice president said.
“I don’t think the party is as deeply divided as the media reports,” George Latimer told JNS on the sidelines of the Democratic National Convention.
Israelis are willing to defy the United States to defend their national interests.
Thomas Nides insisted in an interview with JNS that the U.S. vice president doesn’t support an arms embargo on the Jewish state.
The Republican nominee for the White House also claimed that Kamala Harris snubbed Josh Shapiro because he is Jewish.
