MetroWest Jewish Day School announced that the current academic year will be its last after 25 years in the MetroWest region outside Boston.

“As we mark our 25th anniversary this year, we share the news that this will be our final year of operation,” the announcement stated.

Founded in 2003 by Steven and Renee Finn, the school stated that its board and leadership determined that the highly personalized model on which it was built is no longer financially sustainable in the area, despite what it described as extensive efforts to identify a viable path forward.

“This decision was made with great care and reflection,” the school said, adding that they are prioritizing a supportive transition for students, families and staff.

The founders also committed to providing tuition scholarship assistance for current students who continue their Jewish day-school education through eighth grade. The school is planning a “final gala celebration” for April.

The troops were reportedly killed during a close-range firefight with Hezbollah terrorists.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has barred airspace and bases, drawing U.S. anger and criticism from pro-Israel circles.
The move follows French restrictions on Israeli defense companies and support for a U.N. arms embargo amid tensions over Paris’s stance during the war.
David Azran believes that what goes around comes around, telling JNS: “There is a circle of energy.”
Limor Son Har-Melech, who introduced the bill and whose husband was murdered in a 2003 terror attack, stated that the “historic law” means “whoever chooses to murder Jews because they are Jews forfeits their right to live.”
Either Iran “agrees to abide by international law, or a coalition of nations from around the world and the region will make sure that it’s open,” the U.S. secretary of state said.
