In a nod to the controversy, the Membership Committee did recommend that the organization adopt language to make clear its stance against white supremacism and racism.

“Anti-Semitism continues to be a pervasive threat; T-shirts and coffee mugs that feature neo-Nazi symbols and Hitler icons make this danger clear,” said David Ibsen of the Counter Extremism Project.
Paul Miller brandished guns online and posed next to Nazi flags.
“The appearance of a sitting U.S. member of Congress at a white-supremacist conference legitimizes racism and anti-Semitism,” said StandWithUs CEO Roz Rothstein.
Richard Tobin dubbed the coordinated planned attack against Jewish- and African-American-owned properties throughout the country “Kristallnacht.”
“It is one of the most vulgar ... evil crimes that can be committed against an entire group of people,” said U.S. District Judge Raymond Moore in meting out the sentence.
A far-right white nationalist party founded in 2017, it unsuccessfully ran three candidates in the 2019 Canadian federal elections.
“Ultimately, the IRGC is more dangerous than any of the groups listed, and constitutes a real and present danger to Iranian dissidents, the Jewish community and Canadians in general,” said B’nai Brith Canada.

Some of the fliers stated: “600 + Jewish Orgs Support BLM Communist Terrorists … The US will become minority white in 2045, Census predicts.”
“It is outrageous that someone who consorted with racists would be considered for a position on a commission devoted to preserving Holocaust memorials in Europe,” said ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt.
