This U.N. “inquiry” has only been in operation a year, but has already left a deep stain on the international body.
Commission of Inquiry on Israel report peddles Jew-hatred.
The “inquiry”—its creation, purpose, mandate and all its members—don’t pass the smell test. There is only one genuine fix: disband it.
There is very real anti-Semitism inextricably bound up with this “inquiry,” which is destined to cause serious harm to genuine victims of violence and discrimination unless it is stopped.
It outrageously finds no Palestinian terrorist, no Palestinian terrorist organizations and no Palestinian terrorism.
Its founding resolution was crafted at the behest of Islamic states and what the United Nations calls the “State of Palestine.” It spells out a number of fantastically broad tasks connected by one overarching goal: to turn the Jewish state into a global pariah.
Are Americans willing to pay for a repugnant assault on the human rights of Jews? And on the rights and freedoms of Israelis to defend themselves and flourish?
All those who truly care about combating modern anti-Semitism need to respond.
