National carrier will shift aircraft to more popular routes.
“Since Oct. 7, El Al has strategically adjusted its U.S. flight schedule to uphold an air bridge which is vital for the State of Israel,” stated Shlomi Zafarani, an El Al vice president.
The first Tel Aviv-Bangkok flight took a longer route as a security precaution due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
The Israeli military has confirmed that 222 people are being held captive in the Gaza Strip by Hamas.
